Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering has been designed to address the food safety needs of the catering and hospitality sector.
As Forest School Leaders, Children`s workers, Scouts, Guides, voluntary helpers, food handlers, employee`s etc… this training is good for you as you have a legal responsibility to keep your children and young people safe when preparing food. The qualification is designed to give all food workers an appreciation of good food hygiene practice.
The training is run by Sarah Blake of Blake Training, who has been training in food safety for 26 years and specialises in `Food Safety in the Outdoors` with a programme she developed initially with Lantra Awards. As well as the recognised CIEH Level 2 qualification certificate, you will also receive a certificate of attendance which personalises your accreditation even more with emphasis on cooking outdoors in the woodland environment demonstrating your training is appropriate to outdoor cooking.

A multiple choice test will conclude at the end of the course with successful completion resulting in a nationally recognised qualification. The aim of the day is to learn about food hygiene in a fun, interactive manner -
